About Alan Murphy

Hello, I’m Alan Murphy. I began my career in 1991 working as a nurseryman on Lord Selbourne’s estate, where I developed a strong foundation in horticulture. I then went on to study Commercial Horticulture at Merrist Wood College in Surrey, qualifying with merit after two years.

Following this, I took up a position at Woburn Abbey, further building my experience before relocating to Lincolnshire. There, I worked as a Site Supervisor for Dobson’s Landscaping, managing high-profile projects across the country, including work at Silverstone Racetrack and the A43 improvement scheme.

In 2003, I established Murphys Landscapes, bringing together my experience, skills, and passion for delivering high-quality landscaping work.

I work with homeowners across Lincolnshire to improve outdoor spaces with practical, attractive solutions that are built to last.

My goal is simple: high-quality results, clear communication and a job done properly. I treat every property with respect, keep work areas tidy and make sure customers understand each stage of the project.

Many clients come back for future projects because they know they can trust the same person for different types of work. That continuity gives peace of mind and keeps projects straightforward.
